Greetings Cougar Bowling Fans!

Your Lady Rollers literally out-did themselves tonight in a mini-tournament against Aberdeen, Black Hills, and Tumwater at Tumwater Lanes. Due to space constraints we could only take 12 bowlers but there was still plenty of great pin action in a packed house. The format was unusual but made things interesting and we want to thank our gracious hosts from Tumwater High School and Tumwater Lanes for giving us an enjoyable evening.

Each of our 12 girls bowled on different lanes against one girl from each of the other 3 schools. Every bowler rolled 3 Regular Games and Team total pins determined the match. Once again the Wolves of Black Hills triumphed and the Capital Cougars came in second. Total pin counts went like this: BHHS 2254; CHS 2095; AHS 2083; THS 1868.

8 of our girls bowled over their average and one bowled exactly her average. Here are the individual highlights:

Rebecca Walker (117, 129, 107) Rebecca was 8 pins over her average in her Varsity debut.

Mayah Bosley (165, 138, 157) Mayah was 8 pins over her average tonight.

Lizzy Miles (120, 125, 141) Lizzy was +3 on her average.

Miranda Smith (158, 145, 146) Miranda is an incredibly reliable bowler and bowled exactly on her average.

Heather Nguyen (138, 124, 135) Heather was +9 over average.

Abby Salmon (102, 100, 94) Abby stepped up and filled a spot for us tonight—thanks Abby!

Lani Cailliet (107, 133, 106) Lani was +4 above average.

Delaney Kennedy (142, 103, 144) WOW! Delaney was +16 over her average tonight!

Jaime Bui (92, 115, 78) Jaime also stepped up and bailed us out by covering for a teammate—thanks Jaime!

Diem Nguyen (133, 148, 147) Diem was an amazing +26 over her average tonight!

Jackie Pust (116, 133, 131) Jackie was 15 pins over her average tonight-also WOW!

Saturday 12/9 Top 7 Qualifiers will compete at the 10th Tower Classic

For those 7 bowlers we will leave CHS at 7:30am on Saturday and return around 4:00pm. For any fans that want to see some crazy-good bowling and hear what a big tournament sounds like—come on out.
